Europe is known for being home to many beautiful beaches, but these beaches take the prize for being the best on the continent.
At least according to a new classification of the best destinations in Europe. This annual ranking reveals the top bucket-list beach destinations across Europe.
This list contains a combination of extremely popular and little-known beaches from all over Europe.
By 2023, these are the beaches that occupied the first places in the ranking:
1. Torrent de Pareis (Spain)
The number one best beach in Europe is Torrent de Pareis, located on the island of Mallorca in the Balearic Islands of Spain.
The beach is only accessible by a strenuous six-hour hike or by boat. However, this beach is well worth a visit, as you will be rewarded with pristine white sand, clear blue water, and spectacular surrounding scenery.
2. Bordeira Beach (Portugal)

4. La Pelosa Beach (Italy)
