Fortunately, many cities in the US offer adventure, fine dining, and entertainment without breaking the bank.
Here are five cities in the US where $100 can go a long way.

The cost of accommodation will be the main factor in whether or not travelers successfully stay under $100 per day, and can vary significantly based on time and availability.
1.Denver, Colorado

You’ll pass through downtown Denver, Confluence Park, the Downtown Aquarium, and Elitch Gardens. The trip will only cost you $5.
Towards evening, you have many options, including a visit to the Chamberlin Observatory. The historic site offers public nights where visitors can use telescopes to gaze at the night sky. Get a chance to see the stars, the moon and other planets. An overnight scan that only costs $4.

3. New Orleans, Louisiana
The birthplace of jazz music is a magical place with history, culture, and some of the best seafood in the country. Although the city is a popular destination, especially during Mardi Gras, it remains affordable.
A great way to start your exploration is to walk through the French Quarters, Bourbon Street, and stop by some voodoo shops. While walking is a free activity, you’ll learn some history while visiting common landmarks and admiring unique architecture. You can dive deeper into the culture by visiting the Voodoo Museum for $7.
You’ll have plenty of cheap food options when you get tired of walking. One of the most popular and inexpensive food options is a beignet, a sugary sweet pastry. You can also get a Muffaletta, a large sandwich that can feed two people for around $12-14.
For even more bargains, check out the happy hours in town. The Pelican Bar offers 12 oysters for a measly $3.
